Deactivate Products With No Categories

This rule ensures that products without any assigned category are not active on your website.

Products without categories may not display correctly on your storefront, so this rule helps maintain catalogue integrity.


Rule Setup

Condition:

  • Product is active

    AND

  • Product has no category

Action:

  • Deactivate Product

How It Works

This rule identifies products that:

  • Are currently active
  • Do not belong to any category

These products are then automatically deactivated to prevent them from appearing incorrectly on your site.

Important: By default, a product will still be published even if they are not assigned to any category, or if their assigned categories are inactive.
