Why can I not click on the delete button next to a product's custom field?

If you find a custom field that has a faded delete button, the custom field has originated from that product's supplier feed and is considered 'original data' which is unable to be deleted.

Despite these custom fields being unable to be deleted, you will be able to deactivate the custom field to prevent it showing on the product page of your website.
