Why can I not edit a Promodata category?

The category name is preserved as it's actively synchronised with Promodata. New products from a supplier are assigned to an APPA category that's maintained to support structured management of your product data. If you do not want to utilise the APPA categories, you can create your own categories in Xada. Using the rules management facility it is easy to reassign products from an APPA category to your preferred category structure. Refer to the category assignment training for more information on how to do this.
