Why are my categories not visible on the storefront after being added?
If newly created or synced categories are appearing in your store platform’s admin area but not showing on the storefront, this is usually related to customer group visibility settings.
Categories must be explicitly enabled for one or more customer groups. Unless a customer group is configured with unrestricted access to all categories, newly added categories will remain hidden by default.
To resolve this:
- Go to your storefront’s Customer Groups settings.
- Select the relevant customer group.
- Review the category visibility settings and enable the categories you want this group to see.
- Save your changes.
Once the categories are enabled for the appropriate customer groups, they should appear on the storefront navigation and category listings as expected.
